My name is Douglas W. St.Clair. MyÝ topic is Debunking Myths of Distance learning. Let me say at the onset I am not a nay sayer or an aginer. But in all the years I have been involved in the field of teaching, corporate presentations,computers and networks I have seen people try skip over some of the hard thinking required to make the best of these technologies. So far I have found no royal road. No broad and gloriousÝ avenue that will eliminate all the pot holes and bumps one must travel when utilizing a new technology. Ladies and gentlemen Distance Learning - no matter how promising- is still a dirt road to be smoothed broadened paved before it can become the highway you desire.
